Taylor Lautner Proposes Alternative Ending for Twilight

Taylor Lautner has officially made waves again.

Indeed, it’s quite the spectacle.

Recently, Lautner took to TikTok to engage in a trending challenge, which involves users making outrageous claims before unexpectedly turning the camera towards themselves.

For his part, Lautner journeyed back to the 2011 hit film, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 1, as he showcased a scene of Bella Swan marrying her vampire beau, Edward Cullen.

(Bella was played by Kristen Stewart, while Edward was portrayed by Robert Pattinson, both of whom became major stars through these iconic roles.)

Lautner, who played Edward’s rival Jacob, captioned his video:

“Honestly, forget Edward. Bella should have ended up with Jacob.”

After making this bold claim, the 32-year-old humorously turned the camera towards himself, pretending to be shocked and distressed, with the phrase “oh no no no” displayed on the screen.

While it was evident Lautner was just having a bit of fun, he did tread on delicate grounds, considering the passionate fanbase surrounding the Bella and Edward romance that defined an entire era.

During filming, Stewart and Pattinson developed a romantic relationship, which prompted intense debates among devoted Twilight Saga fans regarding Bella’s ultimate choice.

Now we see where Lautner’s loyalties lie.

Fortunately, Lautner’s playful comment was received positively, with many followers recognizing his sense of humor.

One user commented, “HE WON THIS TREND,” while another shared, “This made my year.”

Lautner portrayed Jacob Black in the Twilight Saga from 2008 to 2012, where he received significant acclaim and faced numerous comparisons with Pattinson.

Reflecting on his relationship with Pattinson, Lautner mentioned last year on the Call Her Daddy podcast that despite their differences, he finds Pattinson to be “fantastic” and “the sweetest person ever.”
