Is Scarlett Johansson Pregnant?

No, there is no indication that Scarlett might be pregnant. The last time the Black Widow star was expecting was in 2021 when she and Colin were awaiting the arrival of their son.

Scarlett shared her reasons for keeping her pregnancy private in a 2022 Vanity Fair interview. “I’ve been very protective of both pregnancies, wanting to avoid public scrutiny,” she explained.

“I wanted to experience my own feelings about my changing body without others weighing in, whether positively or negatively,” she added.

How Many Kids Does Scarlett Johansson Have?

Scarlett has been married three times and has two children. Her first child, a daughter named Rose Dorothy, was born in 2014. She shares Rose with her second husband, Romain Dauriac.

Scarlett and Romain began dating in 2012 and married in October 2014. However, they separated in 2016, and their divorce was finalized in 2017.

In May of that same year, Scarlett started dating Colin Jost, and they got married in October 2020. They welcomed their son, Cosmo, in August 2021.

In a 2022 interview on The Kelly Clarkson Show, the Marriage Story star revealed that both of her children share a connection through their names, as they are “both flowers.”

When Scarlett was expecting her first child, she was actively filming Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron. When the news broke, director Joss Whedon was asked how they would adapt the filming schedule around her pregnancy.

“We didn’t cut any scenes. We were like, ‘We’ll make it work,’” Joss told Entertainment Weekly, as reported by E! News.

Thanks to modern special effects, it was relatively easy to obscure Scarlett’s pregnancy in the second Avengers film. Three stunt women performed action scenes while wearing face masks, allowing Scarlett’s face to be digitally added on top in post-production.

Shortly after welcoming her son Cosmo, she traveled to film Asteroid City. Scarlett, Colin, and their newborn went to Spain for the project, as she mentioned in a Sunday Sitdown interview with Today.

“I was able to bring my infant to the set. He could be held by Adrien Brody, Willem Dafoe, Bryan Cranston, and others,” she recalled.

The star of Lost In Translation joked that her son would have great stories to tell because “his earliest babysitters were all Academy Award winners.”

Even though Scarlett is an exciting actress, she revealed that Cosmo was the real star on set. “People were more interested in seeing the baby than me. They would ask, ‘Oh, it’s you. Where’s the baby?’” she shared with People.
